Braces payment plans in Anthem, Arizona.
There are four ways treatment gets paid for here, and all four get talked through at your free consult, before you decide anything.
- Major PPO plans verified at the visit
- FSA and HSA funds
- In-house financing
Nothing to sign and nothing to pay at the consult. You leave knowing the number.
You leave with the number, in writing.
Every case is different, so a figure printed on this page would be wrong for most of the people reading it. Rather than publish one, we do the opposite: your free consult ends with an exact all-in price for your own case, covering treatment and retainers. It is written down, it is yours to keep, and no obligation comes attached to it.
See what happens at the free consult →Four ways we make treatment fit.
None of them require you to commit to anything first. The consult is where all four get put on the table next to your actual price.
A free consult that ends with an exact written price.
Dr. Romans examines your teeth, takes a digital scan and walks you through your options himself. Then you get one all-in written price for your case, treatment and retainers included. No ranges, no starting-at, no additions discovered halfway through.
How the free consult works →Major PPO dental plans, verified while you are still here.
We accept major PPO dental plans. Bring your plan details to the consult and your orthodontic coverage gets verified during the visit itself, so the written price you take home already reflects what your plan is expected to contribute.
How orthodontic insurance works →FSA and HSA funds are welcome.
Orthodontic treatment is one of the most common uses for a flexible spending or health savings account. If you have been putting money aside pre-tax, you can put it toward treatment here. Mention it at your consult and we will work it in alongside any insurance.
In-house financing, arranged with the practice.
Treatment can be spread out over time through financing arranged directly with this office, not with a third-party lender's call center, so the person you talk to about it works in the building. Terms are discussed at your consult, next to your exact price.
[CONFIRM: the in-house financing terms Dr. Romans wants described in public, for example the typical length of a plan and whether a deposit is required. Nothing is stated here until he confirms it.]
What orthodontic insurance actually does.
Dental insurance treats orthodontics differently from cleanings and fillings, and the difference is what catches most people out. Here is the honest version, before you are sitting in the chair.
Insurance is a benefit, not a payment plan.
A plan with orthodontic benefits contributes a share of the cost. It does not pay for treatment, and it is not a way to spread payments out. Orthodontic benefits also work against a lifetime orthodontic maximum: a one-time cap on what that plan will ever put toward orthodontics for that person. It behaves differently to an annual dental maximum, which resets every year. Once the lifetime orthodontic maximum is used, it does not come back.
The insurance side is our job, not yours.
Your coverage is verified during the consult itself, which is the point at which it matters, so the price you leave with already accounts for it. You are not sent home to work out your own benefits and report back.
[CONFIRM: whether the practice files orthodontic claims on the patient's behalf and accepts assignment of benefits. The brief confirms coverage is verified at the consult, but says nothing about who submits the claim, so it is not claimed here.]
In network, out of network, and what an estimate is.
In network means a practice has agreed set fees with your plan. Out of network means it has not, though many PPO plans still pay toward treatment either way, usually at a lower share. Whichever applies to you, a coverage estimate is an estimate: it is what your plan is expected to pay based on the information available at the time, and it is not a guarantee of payment by your insurer.
[CONFIRM: which PPO networks Romans Orthodontics participates in, and which carrier names may be listed. No carrier is named on this page because none were supplied.]
No insurance? Here is how the in-house option works.
Plenty of people arrive with no orthodontic benefits at all, and plenty of dental plans simply do not include them. In that case the in-house financing arranged directly with the practice is the usual route, so the cost can be spread out over time rather than met in one go. You still get the same exact written price first, which means you know precisely what you are deciding about before any payment conversation happens.
How you get to your number.
Three steps, one visit, and no charge for any of it.
Scan and exam
A digital scan of your teeth instead of a tray of impression putty, then an exam by Dr. Romans himself, covering your bite, your jaw alignment and your airway. The price comes from your actual case, not an average.
Options and timeline
Braces or clear aligners, what each would involve for you, roughly how long treatment would take, and what he would recommend if it were his own family. Questions are the point of the visit.
Your exact written price
One all-in number covering treatment and retainers, with your coverage verified and the ways to pay laid out beside it. Take it home and think it over. It is yours to keep either way.
What we can put in writing today.
This practice opened in 2026 and has no patient reviews yet, so there is no quote to show you about billing. Here is the checkable version instead.
- An exact written price, before you commit. One all-in figure covering treatment and retainers, handed to you at the consult and yours to keep whatever you decide.
- Your coverage checked while you are in the building. Not estimated afterwards, and not left to you to chase.
- One orthodontist, start to finish. Dr. Romans is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, which examined his own clinical cases, and he owns the practice, so nobody hands your case along.
- Financing arranged with this office. The money conversation happens with the practice, not with a third-party call center.
- English and Polish, ground level, reserved parking. Suite D-120 has no stairs and no elevators, and your consult can happen in either language.
Fair questions about money.
Straight answers, including the one about why there is no price on this page.
Why don't you publish prices on this website?
Because any figure printed here would be wrong for most of the people reading it. What treatment costs depends on your teeth, your bite, how long you will be in treatment and which option you choose. Rather than publish a number that turns into a surprise later, we give you an exact written price for your own case at the free consult.
How much do braces cost in Anthem?
It depends on your case, and we will not guess at it in public. Mild crowding and a complex bite correction are not the same piece of work, so they are not the same price. Your free consult ends with one all-in written figure for your case, treatment and retainers included, and it is yours to keep whether or not you start treatment.
Does dental insurance cover braces for adults?
Sometimes, and it comes down entirely to your plan. Some PPO plans include orthodontic benefits for adults, others limit them to children, and the lifetime orthodontic maximum differs from plan to plan. Bring your plan details to the consult and your actual coverage gets verified rather than estimated. Adult treatment options are set out on the braces for adults page.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We offer in-house financing arranged directly with the practice rather than through a third-party lender, so treatment can be spread out over time. The terms are discussed one to one at your consult, next to your written price, so you can see both at once.
Can I use my FSA or HSA for orthodontic treatment?
Yes, orthodontics is one of the most common uses for both. If you have pre-tax money set aside in a flexible spending or health savings account, you can put it toward treatment here. Bring the details to your consult and we will work it in alongside any insurance coverage.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes, genuinely free, with no obligation attached. It includes a tour, digital scans and imaging, an exam by Dr. Romans, and your exact written price. If you would rather take that number home and think it over, that is a completely normal way for the visit to end.
