Romans Orthodontics
Meet the team

The team here is small on purpose.

One orthodontist, Dr. Nicholas Romans, and one part-time coordinator. That is the whole practice, and it is the reason nothing about your care gets handed off.

You will not be passed between doctors here, because there is only one to pass you to.

The whole roster

One orthodontist.
One part-time coordinator.
Nobody you have to be introduced to twice.

That is not a short list waiting to be filled in. It is the practice as it actually is, and small enough that you will know both of us by your second visit.

[CONFIRM: the exact job title of the part-time team member. The client's notes describe an assistant who helps with scheduling, so "coordinator" is our wording, not theirs. Also confirm whether this person may be named and photographed.]

Why a small team is the point

Continuity is a feature you notice only when it is missing.

At a lot of orthodontic offices you meet a rotating cast. A different doctor on the days your doctor is at another location, a different assistant each visit, a front desk that has to look you up before it can say hello. None of that is anyone's fault. It is what happens when a schedule has to be covered by whoever is free that morning.

Treatment runs for months, sometimes longer, and you come back again and again. So continuity is the thing you only notice once it is gone: the second time you explain your own mouth, the appointment where nobody remembers what was decided at the last one. Here the person who greets you and the person who treats you do not change, because there is nobody for them to change into.

It also means nothing gets lost between people. What Dr. Romans plans at your consult is what he adjusts at every visit and what he checks on the day you finish.

That is a structural fact rather than a service promise, and it comes from how the practice is built:

  • Solo, independent and doctor-owned. No group, no partners, no rotating associates.
  • One orthodontist, Dr. Nicholas Romans, plans, adjusts and finishes every case himself.
  • Digital scans instead of impressions, so your records are captured once by the doctor who reads them.
  • A ground-level suite, no stairs or elevators, with reserved patient parking right outside the door.
  • One phone number for everything, and it takes texts as well as calls.

The one person to meet

So there is really one introduction to make.

Everything clinical here runs through Dr. Nicholas Romans, DMD, MSD. Worth knowing who that is before you sit down.

He is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, a voluntary examination of his own clinical cases. He earned his MSD and orthodontic specialty training at Saint Louis University, where his graduate research examined Invisalign treatment outcomes, then spent a craniofacial fellowship year at St. Louis Children's Hospital with the Washington University team, treating children with cleft lip and palate. Your consult can happen in English or Polish.

Dr. Romans, in his own words: "More than 7 years dedicated to orthodontics, including advanced specialty training."

Growing

This page is built to grow.

Romans Orthodontics opened in 2026 and will add people as it grows. When someone joins, they get a place here with their real name, their real role and a photograph taken in the same session as everyone else's. Until that day, this is not a page with the team missing. This is the team.

[CONFIRM: whether the practice is actively hiring, and whether it wants a careers or open-positions link on this page.]
