Refund Policy.

The consult is free, so there is nothing to refund for it. The rest of this page is waiting on the practice.

SAMPLE TEXT. This is placeholder language provided as part of the OrthoBoost website kit. Before launch, Romans Orthodontics must replace it with legal copy reviewed by the practice's own counsel. We build the structure. The practice supplies the language. We are not lawyers.

Why this page is mostly placeholders.

Refund terms have to be the practice's own, and Romans Orthodontics has not set them down in writing yet. Rather than publish terms nobody at the practice has agreed to, this page lists the sections a refund policy needs and marks each one clearly. Until they are filled in, the treatment agreement and financial agreement you sign in the office are the only terms that apply.

If you have a billing question in the meantime, call or text the office at (623) 320-1222 and ask. Someone will go through it with you.

The consultation.

The first consult is free and carries no obligation. Nothing is charged for it, so there is nothing to refund. That includes the tour, the digital scans and imaging, the exam with Dr. Romans, and the written price you take home with you.

[CONFIRM: whether any visit that looks like a consult does carry a charge, for example a records or imaging fee, a second opinion visit, or a return visit after treatment has finished, and what happens if such a fee is paid and the visit does not go ahead.]

Deposits and down payments.

[CONFIRM: whether treatment requires a deposit or down payment, whether it is refundable, what happens if the patient withdraws before appliances are placed, and how long a refund takes to process.]

If treatment stops early.

[CONFIRM: how the practice handles a case that ends before it is finished, whether by the patient's choice, by a move out of the area, or by a clinical decision. Specifically: how completed treatment is accounted for, whether any part of what has been paid is returned, how records and appliances are handled, and how any insurance payment already received is treated.]

Retainers and appliance replacements.

[CONFIRM: what is included in the original treatment fee for retainers, and the practice's charge and refund position on replacing a lost, broken or ill-fitting retainer or appliance after treatment is complete.]

Missed and canceled appointments.

[CONFIRM: the notice the practice asks for when an appointment has to change, whether a missed appointment is ever charged for, and how a charge like that is reversed when there is a good reason for it.]

How to raise a billing question.

Start with the office. Call or text (623) 320-1222, or email hello@romansorthodontics.com and ask someone to call you back. Please leave health details out of email and text. If you would rather do it in person, the office is at 3618 W. Anthem Way, Suite D-120, Anthem, AZ 85086, on the ground level with reserved parking outside the door.

[CONFIRM: who at the practice handles billing questions, the response time the practice is willing to commit to in writing, and what a patient can do next if the answer does not resolve it.]

What controls in the meantime.

Until this page carries real terms, the signed treatment agreement and financial agreement control. Ask the office for a copy of yours if you do not have one.
